Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): AvaII--2.8, 0.25; BamHI--3.1; BglI--3.1; DraI--2.4, 0.74; EcoRI--2.8, 0.28; PstI--3.1. The insert contains the following restriction sites (approximate kb from the 5' end): BamHI--0.03, HaeIII--0.15. A unique sequence probe corresponding to nt 1066-1291 of the published sequence for form 3 of the receptor. Transcription from the SP6 promoter gives the sense strand (linearize with HindIII.
